When we used glass mercury thermometers and suction canisters that were not connected to suction gauges in the walls, but to a free standing machine rolled from room to room as needed. We used manual Blood Pressure Cuffs that we rolled from room to room. There were only 4 DynaMaps for the whole hospital and could only be used when giving blood.
