Amanda McCall saw a need for a patient's family member and was willing to go above and beyond to help the patient's family member. The patient was admitted unexpectedly to the ICU and the daughter had stayed the night prior but hadn't left the hospital yet to get her own belongings. On the 2nd day of the admission, the daughter's husband was going to bring her CPAP machine to the hospital but something happened and he was unable to do so. While talking to the daughter, this was mentioned to Amanda and she had asked me if we had any available for family members and realizing that we didn't, Amanda was willing to go their house to pick up the machine. The patient's daughter ended up being okay without the machine, but the willingness to complete this task with no questions asked was a perfect example of Amanda's servant heart.
