Seventy-seven employees – including two with 35 years of service – were honored at a recent quarterly employee recognition dinner at St. Bernards Medical Center. Honorees included those whose employment anniversary dates came in the third quarter of 2010 and whose length of service fell into five-year increments.
The honorees accounted for nearly 1,000 years of service to St. Bernards, with two having been on staff for 35 years, five for 30 years, six for 25 years, seven for 20 years, eight for 15 years, 10 for 10 years and 38 for five years.
Employees represent 13 towns and communities in four different Arkansas counties and one town in Southeast Missouri. In Craighead County 41 are from Jonesboro; five are from Bono; six are from Brookland; and one each is from Bay, Lake City and Monette. Nine employees are from Paragould in Greene County. Four are from Lawrence County, with two of those living in Hoxie and two in Walnut Ridge. Eight employees are from Poinsett County – four from Harrisburg, two from Weiner and one each from Marked Tree and Trumann. One resident is from Doniphan, Mo.
Those who have been on staff for 35 years are Jane Bales and Linda Hendrix, both of Jonesboro.
Thirty-year employees include Patty Clark, Jimmy Cooper, Joyce Hoffman, Sherry Rickard and Sakae Slatton, all of Jonesboro.
Twenty-five-year employees include Brad Bauer, Larry Fortenberry and Kathy Hargrove, all of Jonesboro, Patricia Dodd of Bono, Terisia Graddy of Monette and Karen Ryan of Paragould.
Twenty-year employees include Sister Marilyn Doss, Phyllis Furnish, Wilma Lane and Rodney Smith, all of Jonesboro, Toni Johnson of Paragould, Carol Kirby of Harrisburg and Patricia Dodd of Bono.
Fifteen-year employees are Joy Holland, Dorthedia Jones and Tammy Newby, all of Jonesboro, Julie Adamson of Hoxie, Daniele Greeno of Weiner, Renee Johnson of Paragould, Billie Simpson of Bono and Danie Vaughn of Brookland.
Ten-year employees include Sheila Johnson, Jordan McIntire and Marilyn Woodard, all of Jonesboro, Larry Damon and Ann Lively of Paragould, Tina Hefner and Edna Moore of Harrisburg, Trayce Blackburn of Walnut Ridge, Mike Garrett of Marked Tree, Carolyn Lenninger of Bono and Christina Thompson of Brookland.
