
Forty-seven employees – including four with 20 years of service – were honored at a recent quarterly employee recognition dinner at St. Bernards Medical Center. Honorees included those whose employment anniversary dates came in the first quarter of 2010 and whose length of service fell into five-year increments.
The honorees accounted for 515 years of service to St. Bernards, with four having been on staff for 20 years, seven for 15 years, 11 for 10 years and 24 for five years.
Employees represent 13 towns and communities in six different Arkansas counties. Twenty-seven are from Jonesboro; four are from Bay; and two each are from Brookland, Harrisburg, Paragould and Trumann. Other communities represented are Batesville, Bono, Caraway, Fisher, Hoxie, Lake City and Manila.
Those on staff for 20 years include Kimberly Inboden of Bono who works in the gastroenterology laboratory; Pamela Wheaton, Brookland, laboratory; and Lee Ann McGowen and Vickie Mullally, both of Jonesboro, reference lab, and cardiac rehabilitation, respectively.
Fifteen-year employees include Clara Evans of Manila who works in the postanesthesia care unit; Patricia Sample, Harrisburg, surgical intensive care unit; Patricia Forehand, Bay, home health; and four Jonesboro residents – Donna M. Carson, Wound Healing Center; Latonya Cornes, 3 East, Shirley Rodgers, home health; and Tina Parker, nutrition services.
Ten-year employees include Beverly Schandevel and Patricia Gonser, both of Paragould, who work on 5 East and the transitional care facility, respectively; Sara Walker and Sheila Wood, both of Bay, emergency department and Doctors Health Group, respectively; Elisa Lancaster, Harrisburg, surgery; Michele Sneed, Caraway, women’s services at the St. Bernards Imaging Center; Gene Rogers, Lake City, magnetic resonance imaging; and four Jonesboro residents – Freddie Barksdale, emergency; Jacqueline Ballard, human resources; Mary Ann O’Hara, surgery; and Sister Mary John Seyler, pastoral care, respectively.
Five-year employees include Allison Hicks of Brookland, radiology; Bobbie Pogue, Bay, environmental services; Cynthia Hicks, Fisher, 5 East; Lisa McKnight, Batesville, surgical intensive care unit; Melissa Mashburn, Hoxie, environmental services; two Trumann residents – Cynthia Marshall, St. Bernards Senior Life Center, and Latoshia Presley, infusion center; and 17 Jonesboro residents – Amy Schilly, noninvasive cardiology; Brenda Billman, noninvasive cardiology; Charles Griffin, environmental services; Delores Johnson, behavioral health unit; Dorothy Brasher, surgery; George Fray, business development; Gina Hallmark, surgical intensive care unit; Gregory McElhanon, accounting; Harry Hutchison, administration; Herbert Granger, engineering; Jo Ann Bruce, laboratory; Lana Fischer, non-invasive cardiology; Rhonda Holcomb, nursing administration; Rita Wilson, administration; Robyn Beavers, home health; Sheila Throgmartin, infusion center; and Tracy Milligan, nutrition services.
