Home Health

Purpose

This program is designed to maintain or restore health to the highest degree possible, increasing a patient’s level of independence while reducing the effects of disability and illness. Home Health can help shorten length of hospital stay, reduce hospitalizations, provide an affordable alternative to nursing home or other institutional care, and gives a more personal quality of patient care through individual attention in the comfort of a home setting.

Services Available

  • Skilled Nursing – IV therapy, wound care, injections, early problem detection, teaching, monitoring/assessing, surgical aftercare, catheter care , diabetic care, Geriatric care, Pediatric care, Obstetrical care.
  • Patient Care Tech- Bathing, feeding, personal care, exercise, linen change, blood pressure, light housekeeping, activities of daily living.
  • Therapy- Physical , Occupational and Speech Therapy: adapt to everyday surroundings, maximize independence, restore to optimum function.
  • Medical Social Services: assessment of social and emotional factors impacting the patients care, assistance with community resources to cope with emotional factors impacting the patients care, assistance with community resources to cope with emotional, financial and other stress causing issues.

Service Area

We serve the entire county of Craighead, Greene, and Poinsett. The counties of Clay, Cross, Jackson, Lawrence, Mississippi, and Randolph are parially served.

Anyone under the care of a physician and in need of medically reasonable care in his or her residence or other appropriate setting is eligible. Medicare, Medicaid, private pay and private insurance are accepted as payment.

Services are provided within a 50-mile radius of Jonesboro. Services are offered 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
