To facilitate comprehensive care for St. Bernards cancer patients, a multidisciplinary team of
St. Bernards physicians meets each week to review prospective cases.
During 2005, a total of 109 cases were presented at tumor conference. This number represents 10 percent of our analytical caseload.
Weekly multidisciplinary conferences are held every Thursday at noon with lunch provided. Specialty conferences are held on the first two Thursdays of each month.
Physicians who attend the conference may earn one hour of CME credit through AHEC Northeast. If you would like to submit a case for presentation at one of the conferences, please call 870-972-4314 or 870-972-4482 to make arrangements.
